Cortona3D RapidAuthor 12.1: further integration with Teamcenter Active Workspace and support for the magnifying glass in 2D and 3D illustrations

Cortona3D is releasing a new version of RapidAuthor, a toolkit for creating interactive technical publications. RapidAuthor 12.1 introduces the ability to create magnifying glasses in 3D and 2D illustrations, and the ability to open RapidAuthor projects for editing in Teamcenter Active Workspace, a client platform that provides access to Teamcenter from office and design applications, and any web browser.

In addition to the new Loupe object, a new tool was developed for smoothing polylines in 2D illustrations, and the ability to generate 2D illustrations with opaque background objects has been added. The interface of plugin-free publications has been improved: illustration and text panel size can be changed dynamically. A number of interface improvements have also been implemented to make the author’s work more convenient and reduce the time required for creating publications.
