How to transfer projects between working spaces

The first method (RapidAdministrator)
  • In RapidAdministrator (Start > All Programs > RapidAuthor > RapidAdministrator) choose the project to be transferred
  • Click the Export button
  • Save the VMP file in any folder
  • Choose the Working Space to transfer the project to
  • Select the Projects folder under the chosen Working Space
  • Click the Import button
  • Browse for the VMP file saved earlier
  • Click Open and
  • Click Apply and OK
 The second method (RapidAuthor)
  • In RapidAuthor's Main Menu > Tools > Manage Projects choose the project you wish to get transferred
  • Click the Export button
  • Save the VMP file in any folder
  • Close the Manage Projects window
  • In RapidAuthor's Main Menu > Tools > Working Spaces choose the Working Space to transfer the project to
  • Click OK
  • In RapidAuthor's Main Menu > Tools > Manage Projects click the Import button
  • Browse for the VMP file saved earlier
  • Click Open and
  • Click Apply and OK
