Performance of RapidAuthor with antivirus software

In some cases, the performance of RapidAuthor may significantly degrade if antivirus software (including Windows Defender) is enabled. The following operations may take significantly more time:

Opening an authoring tool
Importing CAD data into a project
Opening and saving a project
Publishing a project
Previewing a publication
Importing or exporting a project

For example, it takes 8 seconds to preview a sample project with Windows Defender enabled, whereas only 3 seconds, if the authoring tool is added to the exclusion list of Windows Defender.

It is suggested to add corresponding executables (e.g. RapidManual.exe, RapidCatalog.exe, RapidGenerator.exe, etc.) to the exclusion list of the antivirus.
